I will be giving my "Leading when you are not the designated Leader" keynote tomorrow morning at the Peak Performance Toastmasters club meeting. I know your Saturday might be busy; however, if you are in a work environment where you don't feel you can be a leader, you will want to hear this speech.
Peak Performance Toastmasters meet at Medical Center of the Rockies at 9:30 am.
Now that my contest season is over, I can publicly share a copy of my contest speech - "Is it just me?" I leveraged a portion of my keynote speech of the same name to take me to the District 26 Finals in Denver. For me personally, I thought my Division rendition was the best.
DTM Achieved
The Distinguished Toastmaster award is the highest award Toastmasters International bestows upon its members. The DTM recognizes a superior level of achievement in both communication and leadership.
Tonight at the District 26 Toastmasters Spring Conference, I will be competing for the opportunity to advanced to the Semi-finals of the World Championships of Public Speaking. Come hear my speech. The speeches are always exceptional and thought provoking.

D26 Contest
This weekend is the District 26 Toastmasters Spring Conference. Along with excellent Keynote speakers and breakout training sessions, the spring conference highlights the District's International Speech Contest. This is where the top Contestants from Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska compete for the chance to go to the Semi-finals of the World Championships of Public Speaking.
Competing is a challenge; however, I know of no better way to push your speaking skills to new levels. I will be competing on Saturday night, representing the Eastern Division for the chance to compete in Vancover, BC. You won't want to miss this contest!
